Whitstable Improvement Trust

We are an independent Charitable Company, founded in 1989. Membership is free and we meet at least once a year to review actions and elect an executive board. Newsletters for members are published periodically.

Our aim is to provide benefit to the community in the protection and improvement of the local environment and promote public awareness regarding the diversity and richness of the town and its heritage. In addition, we provide small grants to local organisations on application, to help finance projects which are in accord with our own aims.
